About POTASSIUM IODIDE
Potassium iodide is an inorganic compound, potassium salt of hydroiodic acid with chemical formula KI. Colorless crystalline salt turning yellow in the light. Widely used as a source of iodide ions. Less hygroscopic than sodium iodide. It is used in medicine as a medicine, in agriculture as a fertilizer, as well as in photography and analytical chemistry.
